One of the most inspiring examples of this is our ongoing partnership with ESSKA, the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy. Just over a year ago, we partnered closely with ESSKA to launch a completely reimagined version of the ESSKA Academy, a modern, purpose-built  learning platform designed to deliver high-quality orthopaedic education to a global audience.

By leveraging our deep expertise in open-source technologies and learning experience design, we co-created a flexible, scalable, and user-centric solution that puts ESSKA’s members at the heart of the learning journey, all while ensuring ESSKA retains full ownership and control of their platform’s evolution.

To mark the first full year of the reimagined ESSKA Academy, we benchmarked platform usage and engagement metrics against the previous system. The data shows exceptional growth across the board and highlights the tangible benefits of ESSKA’s investment in a modern, learner-first experience:

• Users: 38,117 — a 605% increase from 5,249
• Sessions: 81,735 — up 667% from 10,200
• Page Views: 218,421 — a jump of 363% from 50,142
• Countries Reached: 109 — highlighting international reach
• Total Engagement Time: 1,547 hours — demonstrating sustained interaction

These aren’t just statistics, they reflect increased access to world-class orthopaedic education, broader international participation, and a clear endorsement of the new platform by ESSKA’s members.
