Enovation’s 2023 in Review

2023 has been a busy year with an interesting blend of business-as-usual and a lot of attention on the emerging world of generative AI. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with our existing clients and welcoming new clients to the fold. We’ve grown the Enovation team across our locations in Ireland, France and Poland as we strive to continue offering great service. Here’s some highlights from the last 12 months:

  • We launched our AI resource centre with our AI Podcast, blog and our very popular Executive Workshops. We also announced the launch of our Moodle AI Connector and AI Simplifier Plug-in. Enovation’s David Kerrigan presented a compelling keynote on AI to over 400 people at the L&D Conference – we’ll share the video of that in January for anyone who missed it.
  • Our Aura Learning Portal solution has been especially popular, and we’ve completed major projects with EASL, IAS, ESSKA. Check out our video case study with the GAA. Portals offer exceptional customer experiences built on top of an LMS.
  • The Moodle team had another productive year with the launches of updates to Moodle LMS (4.2|4.3) and Moodle Workplace 4.3 As we always say, even if you’re not planning to move to these interim releases, it’s good to be familiar with the features ahead of the next major release (4.4) that’s coming in 2024.
  • Totara again proved very popular as we launched projects with SFPA, SFI and Mater Hospital. TXP Version 18 just snuck in before the end of the year and we’ll have an update in January about the new features in this latest version.
  • Team Enovation attended lots of great events throughout the year – from Elearning Africa in Senegal to EdTech and L&DI in Ireland and our first major event in Poland – AI Connect and Learning Technology in Paris. We look forward to meeting more of you on the road in 2024.

As we look ahead to 2024, feel free to get in touch to plan your learning strategy, as we expect generative AI to move quickly from the talking stage to the action stage!
