Moodle enables you to provide your students with extra material and resources for a more rounded learning experience.
- You can enhance your classroom instruction by bringing Multimedia into your teaching with embedded video and flash movies, or you can link to YouTube or Google Videos.
- You can create and publish podcasts of your classes and presentations. Ask students to record themselves and their classmates and then upload the video to share with the rest of the class.
- You can use Moodle to build a library of good reference sites which students can access for more information.
- Students can upload their assignments(any file format) to the server – they are date-stamped.
- Set quizzes using a variety of formats including multiple choice, true / false and cloze style.
- Save on printing by making class notes and extra reference material available online - Moodle allows you to upload presentations, PDFs and documents to make them more easily accessible.
- Events can be added to the school calendar and these can be viewed by day, month or category.
- Set up forums to interact with other teachers or with students
