April 2013 - Today the GAA officially launched their learning and development community portal at Croke Park in Dublin.  The portal was developed by the Enovation open source solutions team and comprises proven products to deliver a tightly integrated end user focussed portal. 

The website (learning.gaa.ie), will be used to publish e-learning content and resources from the Association’s Coach, Referee, Player and Administrator Development Programmes, as well as providing an opportunity for registered users to share and learn from one another. 

With such a large membership this site has the potential to become one of the largest community learning portals in Europe.  Given its significance to the organisation, it was important to select the right partner to undertake the development and to provide support going forward.  Enovation are providing a fully managed service including hosting and support....

UWS logo

October 2012 - UWS - the largest modern university in Scotland - have successfully migrated from Blackboard Academic Suite to Moodle 2 in time for the academic year beginning in September.  

Following a competitve tender process, Enovation were selected to help the university with this important project.  After an initial trial migration phase, the first tranche of 1,300 courses were migrated in April with the rest migrated during the Summer months. 

Enovation were chosen based on:

  • An established track record in providing Moodle experise
  • Experience of similar projects including Motherwell College in Scotland
  • A clear and pragmatic migration process
  • The ability to work to the College's timescales

September 2012.  Enovation Solutions have been certified to the international standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification.  This certification has been achieved for the core services that Enovation offers in hosting, project management and delivery of open source solutions.

Percolate Project

June 2012 - Enovation will be attending the Learning for Growth seminar in Croke Park, Dublin on Thursday 21st of June. This event marks the launch of the Learning Technology Centre. Enovation Solutions is delighted to be an Industry partner with this new initiative seeking excellence in Learning Technology. The event will also showcase the research innovations from the Percolate project including the personalised, on-demand learning portal, which is a Moodle block plug-in. This was a result of a project where Enovation joined up with researchers from TCD, Clarity Centre UCD, DCU, WIT and DERI.
